Upcoming events have brought me to teach at Martin Art Classes and Pacific View Art Center, as well as two fair entries and two awards at the fair.

I have had a blast getting back into teaching art. I used to be a community education art and exercise instructor at Palomar Community College, but we all lost our jobs due to funding cuts. Now, I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at Martin Fine Art Classes in Olivenhain and the new Pacific View Art Center next to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The address is 380 West “F” Street, Encinitas, California.

I taught beginning sculpture, “How to Make an Armature,” the wire skeleton inside the clay model, and a drawing class. Both are offered at Pacific View in August. Below is the new schedule.

Intermediate Drawing #14693 Tuesday 1:30 – 3:00 pm Aug 13, 2024 – Sept. 3, 2024
Sept. 17, 2024 – Sept. 24, 2024

Multiple Stingrays is a Fever

Multiple Stingrays, by definition, are called Fever, which I am creating in this blog. Creating multiple rays within a single sculpture is a meticulous and labor-intensive process that demands careful planning and the collaborative efforts of many skilled individuals.
